Adobe releases new free tools for PDF files

The  Adobe  announced on Wednesday (03) the release of new free tools intended for files in PDF  . And, to make life easier for users, all the features already launched were gathered on the online PDF page.  With the new features, users will be able to protect their files with passwords, split a single document into two parts and even merge multiple PDFs.

According to Adobe , users will be able to take advantage of the free PDF viewing features, adding comments, sharing documents for review, filling out and signing forms. In this list, there are still other possibilities, including the July 2021 launch, which released the conversion to PDF of  files created in Microsoft Word  ,  Excel  and PowerPoint.

.Although access does not require payments or subscriptions, some tools are restricted. For some resources, for example, access is limited to once a day, 5 times a week. In addition, more advanced mechanisms of the platform, such as text editing, remain reserved for subscribers of the Document Cloud  and Creative Cloud services  .

Although Adobe created the format PDF, which stands for Portable Document Format (or Portable Document Format, in free translation), there are numerous other platforms with tools geared to this format - such as Docusign. Microsoft Edge users can also handle their files in the browser, which allows for free italics and drawings. Incidentally, as reported by TecMundo in November 2020  , it is now also possible to make notes in the archives.
