Field Service Engineer...aka The Customer's Most Trusted Advisor, aka The Product Ambassador, aka The White Knight and the Hero. These were some of the phrases tossed around in today's Field Service Panel Discussion moderated by our very own Randy Reynolds, VP Product Marketing at the Field Service East Conference in Atlanta. Panelists from NCR, Walgreens, Maintech, Pitney Bowes and Phillips Healthcare spent some time discussing with Randy the changes we are seeing in Field Service and Service Organizations today, including: workforce demographics, heightened focus on revenue, cloud-based services, mobile devices, self-service and more. So impressive to hear live from individuals what it’s like to try and move the needle on some of these issues within their organizations. I am pretty sure they all could have talked for days about any one of these issues.
Aside from learning from experts throughout the 3 day conference, we also love the opportunity to get out of our office and mix and mingle with our customers and partners at our Dish events! We had a fantastic experience hosting our customers and field service professionals on Monday night at Cook Hall! Check us out enjoying some southern cuisine with our friends:
And you can’t forget about the action in our booth!
Thanks to attendees, our local staff, and session speakers who came out to meet, mingle and discuss field service this week in Atlanta. Lots of lessons learned, new connections made and look forward to seeing some of you at our next event!
