15.40.012 (Spring 15) iPad Crashing Issues

An update was posted to the Appstore today for the Spring 15 iPad application (15.40.012).  After updating the iPad application instantly crashes upon the application opening.   Is anyone else having similar issues?

Currently we are using the Spring 15 Server Build.

A patch was released on Friday (15.40.015) and resolved the issue.  Defect 018458: Checking product entry in InstallProduct table, If not there then doing null check

Hello Stephen Lortscher​,

Can you please provide the following info to help us understand the issue and why this might be happening:

Please share the following information -  iOS device being used, OS version running on the device, Did you do a fresh install of the app or was upgraded from an existing app. If upgrade then - Please share the initial app version from which the app was upgraded.

In addition, Please also share the crash logs using the steps mentioned below:

1. Connect the device to a Mac machine

2. Launch Xcode (if not installed please install it free from apple website Xcode - Downloads - Apple Developer )

3. Navigate to Windows > Devices

4. Left Pane lists the devices. Tap on your Device

5. On the Right pane, tap on button 'View Device Logs'

6. Select entry with Process 'ServiceMax, Type 'Crash' with latest time stamp

7. Right click and select option 'Export Log' . Save the the record and share with us.

Info:

     -Device: iPad Air 2

     -iOS 8.3

     -On the 3 devices this has happened to the app was auto-updated.  On all 3 devices we have tried deleting the app entirely, performing a hard reboot, and then reinstalling. The App will complete the initial sync and will force close as soon as the sync completes, and the issue continues as before.

     -Winter 15 Application does not force close.

     -All devices were upgrading from 15.30.004 (Apr 13, 2015) -> 15.40.012 (Jun 16, 2015)

Unfortunately I do not have a Mac machine handy at the moment.  I will see if I can get access to one to export the log.
