Background SFM on iPad not working

Turns out that backgrounds SFMs do not work on the iPad. Is anyone else having problems with this and any suggested work arounds?

I have some SFMs to change the status of work orders that work fine, in the background, on-line but present the user with the field and all it's picklist values on the iPad.

I cannot stop the wizard from appearing on the iPad since Summer 15 and do not want the users to have the access to the work order status field.

Hi Mark, can you set the field as read only so that they are not able to modify it on the iPad? That way when they click on the SFM, their only option is to save or cancel.

Hi MunMun,  interestingly enough, the field is read only on the SFM page but is still editable on the iPad. Is it because it's a picklist?

Hi Mark, the type of field shouldn't matter - are there varying permissions on the field level security for the status field that might be conflicting?
