Thanks for pointing me in the right direction with this article https://userdocs.servicemax.com/

I needed the information on related topic as well to make a test in my sandbox
https://community.servicemax.com/thread/1116

I found that troubleshooting action will only show in Work order view for ipad, not in the (custom) view that we use.

While testing I found another problem: If I use a html file that contains a link to a local server e..g  http://server/mypage.aspx the hyperlink doesn't work. if I replace the link with a http://www.link.html it works.

A have a vpn connection to my local server and the link works in Safari

Please advise

Bram

Information for setting up the knowledgebase can be found in online help under Mobile Apps in ServiceMax | Mobile Apps Configuration | Salesforce Configurations, or by clicking on this link:

https://userdocs.servicemax.com/

Salesforce Configuration (as noted in the above help section) is needed to enable the troubleshooting feature.

The Troubleshooting feature is supported for Work Order views only.  This Work Order view can be either custom or standard, as long as the Enable Troubleshooting checkbox is selected in the view page layout.

This is in the online help section at https://userdocs.servicemax.com/ServiceMaxHelp/Summer16/en_us/svmxhlp.htm#MobileApps/SFMTransactions...

As for the html hyperlink issue, please log a case with ServiceMax support so they can investigate.

Troubleshooting configuration has two steps: Salesforce configuration & SFM transaction configuration.   Perhaps a better link to online help is this one as it contains links to both steps:
