A technician can be at customer site during some days and can carry out different activities such as corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance or optimizations. Each activity has a unique work order with a different order type.
Today a technician can only create a service report per work order. Consequently if the technician has worked on three work orders, the technician will create three output documents. However, our customers want to have a service report with all activities from our technicians. For this example, the customer will receive a service report and the three work orders will be displayed on the service report.
It would be nice if this requirement can be included in your roadmap.
Thank you for your support.
Would be really nice feature in Go app as well.
@dmartinez @elina_ristila - in this use-case, are the work orders related to a parent WO or something like that? If yes, this should be possible even today.
If not, what do you think is the criteria to group the work orders for the output doc?
No - user should be able to select from the available WO for which he is the owner on his Ipad. These WO are not - but can be - related to a parent WO.
@nschmitz The way I am understanding this is - tech chooses a group of WOs on the ipad, clicks to generate an output doc. This output doc prints details of the Work order one after the other using the template configured, but all in the same file. The tech uses this to get a signature and finalizes which then creates one PDF.
Is this what you envision?
..
@archana_krishna Yes exactly. User will select the WO's he want to have on the service report and all related work details (maybe grouped by WO) will be listed so that the can get the signature of the customer. In ideal he also can select a time frame for the work details he want to have on the service report (e. g. 1 week). Thanks.
single work orders which have no relations to each other. Output document should include all of these so that customer signs only one report instead of several reports.
