I’ve come across an issue today with servicemax ipad apps winter 16 & winter 17. I am unable to log into any sandbox environment.
I get as far as -
The app then doesn’t start the initial sync screen and instead goes back to sign in again. it’s stuck in a loop.
Note: signing in to the sandbox via a browser with the same user is fine. It seems to be only the iOS apps that are affected.

We have experienced that we need to DELETE the App and reinstall when we want to switch between Production and Sandbox and vice versa (and don't forget to go back to the iPhone settings menu once more to choose Sandbox).

Normally it works ok for us, but as Rob says, in some circumstances we have to do this. I believe its because our sandbox is refreshed from production, and if you login to sandbox and then production (or vice versa), the actual user ID is the same (because of the production data being the same in sandbox), therefore because the user ID is the same, the app thinks its the same user and doesn't need to re-download the data. However, this sounds different to the problem you are having Nathaniel. It sounds more like you are missing some configuration, such as assigning the group profile to the mobile configuration for this user - have you checked that?

Thanks for all you replies and suggestions. I ended up raising a case with servicemax. apparently it was a known issue. They released an updated version for the winter 16 ipad app 16.20.024 which solved the issue.
