Sync Conflict

Jump to solution

Hi All,

We are currently experiencing an issue where the tech sees a -1 Conflict on the tablet and all of his associated work orders disappear from his iPad. Also as per the screenshot below there is now no next sync times showing for the Data Sync Status and the Config Sync Status. Has anybody else experienced an issue like this after upgrading to Winter 16?

Hi,

One thing that you can try, if this occurs again, is to use SET016 under the Ipad Synchronization settings under ServiceMax setup.  In there you can enable this to help with any conflicts that might occur.

Thanks,

ChrisM.

How would SET016 help resolve specifically "-1" conflicts ?

If there are conflict where the configuration is looping, then this might help.  It's not common to have -1 errors here, so other steps might be to delete the app and do a config and data synch again and/or reset the app.  The SET016 would be something if these do not work.

Thanks,

Thanks for your answer, Chris.

My question is : how would SET016 help in the situation you describe ?
