Update on the Mobile Supportability Tool
The ServiceMax Mobile Supportability Tool is no longer in active development and is not a product which we will be supporting with a service level agreement. However, the tool will continue to be available in its current form.
Is there an equivalent or replacement for the GO apps?
Mark
Hi @mark_taylor , there is not an equivalent or replacement at the moment. There is work being done on a tool that will be accessible on ServiceMax setup in the future, which will check object/field permissions to advise where issues may occur due to those settings, and which will evaluate Download Criteria and Advanced Download Criteria to make recommendations. We will share more info on that as progress is made.
Hi @jasonsauer , is there an update on this?
Thanks,

Work is in progress on some tools (not a direct replacement of the mobile supportability tool). The goal of those tools is to provide validation of an org’s SFMs as well as Object/Field permission settings to help diagnose/prevent potential sync and performance issues.

Will it provide some subscriber (proxy) log in capability so that we can check for problems as an end user?
The tools currently in development will not. The architecture of the sync gateway that Go uses is quite different than the sync process used on our previous mobile apps, so the type of tool you mentioned isn’t feasible at this time. That is not to say such a tool will never be provided, as we do understand the value, but such a tool is not currently on our roadmap.
