emailing documents from spring 14 app

is it possible to email custom smart docs  / output documents directly from the spring 14 app ?

I understand that this is available in summer 14 using the iOS share sheet but will this feature be made available in spring 14 ?

(Note: we are not in a position to use winter 15 yet as due to the massive UI change we need to retrain our engineers on how to use it.)

Server side triggers can be used to automatically email the document to an email address of your choice.  Today, only the iPad has the ability to email the Smart Doc from the device in Summer 14.

I will let the Product team comment on if they plan to make this feature available in an older release (ie. Spring 14). service report​ spring14​ summer14​ ipad​
