Apple announced that iOS 10, which is supposed to be a huge update, will be released on September 13th. Are you guys testing out the beta versions to make sure that they don't break the existing functionalities on our iPads like iOS 8 did?
Thanks,
Nick
Please review ServiceMax's iOS Policy which is located here in the community.
Testing was done on the latest iOS 10 beta version (10.0.1) with no regressions found.
The app versions tested were:
Apple released iOS 10 to the public on Sept 13. We are in the process of doing a final round of testing and will share the results as soon as feasible.
echoing what Nick Sorensen has said. I too need to know where servicemax are with validating their apps for iOS 10.
Thanks
Nat
As above, what is the current advice re IOS 10?
We're already seeing some issues on the iPad app in testing.

Pei,
Bayer is currently on SUM15 15.60.311. My assumption is that they are ok since they have a more current version than what is listed in Beta test.
Can we please confirm if this version is certified for use with iOS 10?
Thanks,
Kevin

We have had multiple reported issues due to iOS10 update such as their tablet freezing, not being to add parts etc.
If you are experiencing an issue, please submit a case to ServiceMax Customer Support so they can help you resolve it.
We're also experiencing exactly the same issue with our technicians - Servicemax on iPad locks up solid.
Did you get a resolution to this Mathew?
No not yet, we just rolled back their iPads to previous versions of iOS.
If you need to do the same, you will need a computer with the current version of iTunes and you could follow these steps.
Thanks Mathew,
I've sent those instructions to our technicians - hopefully they'll be able to do this themselves as most are remotely located so I'm not able to do it for them.
*fingers crossed* that Servicemax (or Apple) releases an urgent fix for this.
Matthew,
Thank you! Extremely helpful.
Much better response than we do not support it with no resolution.
