Currently on FSA for the iPad and Android Tablet, you can only attach a photo or video as an attachment directly from the Work Order. There have been other Ideas marked as resolved for this (such as https://community.servicemax.com/t5/Mobile-Ideas/Ability-to-Add-Attachments-PDF-Excel-Word-Through-i...), but if you want to attach a document, such as a PDF, you have to navigate to the PDF first and then initiate the attachment from there. It causes the user to have to take several additional steps to get the attachment on the Work Order, and runs the risk that they don't remember the correct Work Order number to attach the document to. From an efficiency standpoint, they should be able to do this directly in the Work Order as they as they are working on it. This functionality was put in place for FSA for Windows. It should be extended to iPad and Android as well.
What is the underlying problem do you intend to solve with this idea?
Reduce the number of steps a user has to take to attach a document to a WO on mobile, and gain efficiency
How is the problem being addressed today, if at all?
There's a work around by initiating the attachment from the document itself, but it's not efficient
