It appears that after 3.1.4, the UI / UX components of the mobile FSA on iPad were changed such that check boxes and yes / no fields were changed to sliders.
These need to be changed back to check boxes and yes / no fields. Sliders are not intuitive.

@ahomoly The newer apps have adopted this design of toggle switches instead of checkboxes. While it is more touch friendly, the other reason is that we will in future allow executing custom logic instantly on these fields. From design principles, sliders seem a better choice than checkboxes. here and here
