Our field techs are suggesting navigation bar on mobile app should be more intuitive and automatic. For example, there are unnecessary items on the bar for out techs, such as New items, Tasks or Recent. And they require manual sync button on the bar since they need 3 taps to run it. Isn't it good idea to allow customize the bar on mobile app?

What is the underlying problem do you intend to solve with this idea?
Improve technicians productivity to get rid of time for several taps or searching right menu.
How is the problem being addressed today, if at all?
Navigation bar is still confusing for our techs and not friendly with their job.

Being able to customize what appears in the nav bar along with what order is already in our enhancement roadmap.

On the ServiceMax Go app, administrators can configure the app navigation tab bar icons which appear at the bottom of the app, providing the ability to show, hide, or, change the order of the icons. To use this feature, administrators have to create a custom setting and set it to navigation tabs as comma-separated values.
