We have agreed to have ServiceMax available in 6 languages (EN, GE, ES, FR, CN, PR). Although we provide from our SAP via Upload the spare part descriptions in different languages and although they are available in SVMX web when checking in Products on the Ipad only the english language is always used. English is always used also if the user have in his settings one of the other languages selected.

For part request creation and also recording of spare part consumption only the english description of the spare parts are shown on the Ipad. Users which are not english speakers will for sure have difficulties in identifying/finding/requesting the correct parts. 

Also in WO debrief the part search is only in english language. Also in overview only the english description is shown.

In service report also only the english description is again shown although user/customer need a different language.

Clear requirement is that the part descriptions are available on the Ipad in the agreed languages for the above mentioned functionalities - especially for the service report.

This is valid not only for the FSA Ipad app but also in the web.

Same problem also for the Structural Components we use on the Ipad during WO Debrief and Work Order Task handling etc. They are only shown in English language - also on the Service Report. We provided the respective languages to ServiceMax project team but they were not able to manage the different languages on the Ipad FSA app as well as in Web.

This was explained in several meetings to a lot of ServiceMax project members - last time it was discussed with @michelleN (Michelle Notter) and @vivek_agrawal. Please contact Michelle and Vivek for further details.

This topic need to be solved asap because - as said - customers are not accepting not complete documents in local language. Also our users are not satisfied with mixed UIs.

@nschmitz I will connect with the product team, not sure if this is an item for roadmap as quite specific to your process and the integration with SAP for part descriptions.

We've been asking for this for the past 8 years we've been using ServiceMax. I finally hope they find a solution to whats meant to be a global viable product solution.

We have reviewed this request and what is explained here is the standard product behavior. 

SFM shows the fields that are configured in the Designer, it will not have the ability to show fields based on a particular context (in this example user's language context).

@michelleN  Please work with SIG on alternate approaches to achieve this specific requirement. This will not be on the product roadmap.
