Download via Search Window


When using the FSA application, and performing an Installed Product Search, the engineer completes an "Online Search" to deliver results from the sever not locally stored on the users iPad. There is no option in the search window to "Download" the IP record. This has to be done separately in another search via the "Explore" menu. This leads to time wasted not being able to download the record at the point of searching for it, a search and download needs to be done first before being able to use the IP record from the Search Function within the Work Order. If we could make the option to download wherever we find the record, this would save time and be helpful.

Time wasted duplicating actions.
How is the problem being addressed today, if at all?
Not being actioned, the process is taking engineers longer to obtain and download the IP record before adding to a WO.
