Currently, Chatter functionality is enabled on the IPAD only for product troubleshooting. The idea is to enable it also on the work orders.
In many cases, there is a lot of back and forth communication between the FSE and the back-office regarding troubleshooting and this communication is on the work order level not on the product level. There are many customers that developed enhanced comments mechanism around the case and work orders I think having chatter would eliminate the need and will be a much more straight-forward communication.
What is the underlying problem do you intend to solve with this idea?
Chatter is a great salesforce functionality and allowing it to work on the IPAD for Cases and Work orders will enhance user experience and will eliminate a lot of back and forth Emails that are not connected to the system
