Technicians would like to be able to see more information of a Work Order in the mobile calendar, without opening it up.

What is the underlying problem do you intend to solve with this idea?

How is the problem being addressed today, if at all?

Hi! This is already possible by using custom fields with some limitations. FYI Elina Ristila

Thank you for pointing that out. Below is some specific information on how to configure the setting:

Navigate to:

ServiceMax Setup | App Administration | Configuration Profile

1. Select the group wide configuration and click edit.

2. Set the Module to ServiceMax iPad Client

3. Submodule to Calendar

4. Locate and Edit SET005 - Text & Event field values to be displayed for Salesforce events in mobile apps.

Use this setting to define what to display on the mobile app's calendar Day View and Week View for ServiceMax events. Use a combination of static text and one or more ServiceMax Event field's API name within curly braces. Static text can include for newline and for eight spaces. Example: {Name} Service Duration: {SVMXC__DurationInMinutes__c}. If this setting is left blank, mobile apps display the values of specific Work Order fields (e.g. - Account, City, and State) and associated ServiceMax Event's Name field based on hard-wired logic.

This is supported in 'iPad Classic', 'iPhone' & 'FSA' as of ServiceMax Winter17 (Apps Comparison)
