Fix Horrible Validation Rule Messages

Fix Horrible Validation Rule Messages

Please fix ServiceMax Go's horrible validation rule messages display. When a rule is triggered it shows this in 3 different ways blocking up the entire screen. This is extremely user unfriendly.

Please remove the following 2 out of 3

1. The red bar at the top should always show as collapsed just like FSA for Windows, there is no reason it should be expanded

2. Do not show the black box at the bottom. This is double as to the one on the top

The only one that should stay is:

The text that shows under the first field configure din the validation message. Additionally if you could configure for which field or at the top of the screen instead a validation message would appear just like salesforce would be even better.

What is the underlying problem do you intend to solve with this idea?
Remove frustration by users where they have to first tap on 2 different messages to see the 3 validation message by the field that is actually important each time this happens
How is the problem being addressed today, if at all?
Tell users to calm down and that this idea is registered and for the time being they will need to perform the extra tabs plus that we adjust all validation messages so they run on a save only in the hope that they will not be triggered.

Hi @jeroen_schwankh,

I hear you on the frustration with the current validation messages. I think your comment to keep the validation header collapsed by default makes a lot of sense and there is undoubtedly more we can do to improve the current behavior in general. Please know that this is not the kind of experience we want you or your technicians to have with our products and that your feedback has been received.

Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback with us. Please continue to do so, as your experience is highly valued and helps us create solutions to better serve you and technicians in the future.
