Create the Output document in the Mobile app on the Mobile device and allow the name to be configurable.
Creating the output document (such as the Service Report) on the local device would provide a more seamless process where the user does not have to wait for the PDF to be created on the SFDC server and then brought back to the Work Order on the mobile device. The current hard coded naming convention is not customer friendly
Allow the PDF name to be decided by the customer and allow it to be configurable for different roles (profiles or countries)
If possible, add a version number such as V1, V2 if subsequent PDFs are created.
Create the document on the iPad when Finalized
Email the Document after it's finalized and created on the mobile device.
Save the output document to the SFDC Server on the next data sync
What is the underlying problem do you intend to solve with this idea?
Our users are not currently using the Output Doc feature. Programming (Trigger) changes are required to enable us to use this feature
