Today, we do not have any option to notify Technician when server version is upgraded to new version and he/she using version not compatible with new version. We need capability to send a broadcast to all users on the apps. We are looking for a notification box in classic and FSA Apps through which Admin can send any important communications to Technicians like 1. New version App notification 2. When new configuration available 3. Any ongoing know issues that Technician should be aware of.

Improve the communication with Technicians on field with more controlled and efficient way.

Hi Sandeep Reddy Musku, have you looked at the capabilities of Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions? We currently use Airwatch and it has the function to do this and send a message to all users of a particular app.
Hi Richard, Airwatch is in place for a few regions but not all Technician enrolled the Device into our Network. Due to complexity in our network landscape, MDM is not resolving our issue. We have to manually communicate user to upgrade the app.
Given that the apps are not server-specific anymore I see this as a growing issue. From what I understand the tech must perform an app reset once the server is updated, so there should be a method to force this to happen, or at least block them from doing anything until it's completed.
