When end user click on Open Tree view on Work Order record. It was never loading. Instead throwing error.
During investigation from ServiceMax, it has been found that one Location record associated to one Work Order was having circular loop. For example Location A was parent for B, and Location B was parent of A.
We need enhancement on below areas.
User should face the issue only with Work Order which is having this problem. Remaining Work Order user should be able to view Installed Product and Location tree view on product IQ.
Error message should be proper and it should tell end user which record is having problem. So user himself can correct the data.
Location shouldn't allow to choose as Parent of the Parent. Parent Location is SVMX Managed packaged field.
How is the problem being addressed today, if at all?
We corrected data manually and removed circular loop. Issue has been bypassed.
