what are the pros and cons in adding "License"  type to Installed Product object, we only use this object currently for hardware" type installed products?

Hello Jithesh Nalla​. Are you thinking of tracking software licenses via Installed Products? Not sure if that's what you are thinking, but I am in the process of designing a solution for licenses which get renewed annually. We plan on tracking those as Installed Products to leverage the native functionality of the Installed Product in ServiceMax.
