I'm trying to find a way to dynamically tie multiple Accounts and Locations together. These will mainly be tied to geographic regions but I need the ability to have multiple areas tied to a location due to structure of some of our accounts. So it would look like the following:
Account A
Location 1: Southwest
Location 2: Northeast
Location 3: Midwest
So let's call it Supercenter that I'm looking for. Account A would be tied to all 3 Supercenters but each location would be tied to the Supercenter it is located (Midwest, Northeast, Southwest).
Has anyone had experience with setting something up like this successfully?
Accounts to support Hierarchy so you can have something like shown below not sure if it meets your need though :
Account A
Let me know if that helps.
I'm not sure I'm following what you mean. Do you mean having 3 separate Accounts and tying to a Parent Account?
Not sure this would work for you, but this is how we've structured it when we have customers with branches worldwide and different bill to addresses at the branch level:
Parent Account A
Child Account A_Midwest
Location 1
Location 2
Child Account A_Northeast
Location 1
Location 2
Child Account A_Southwest
Location 1
Joshua Phillips - I just wanted to circle back on this to see if you were able to find a solution that worked for you in regards to this. I look forward to your reply!
Chris,
Blast from the past here.
Is there anything on SVMX or SFDC Community that can provide a customer the necessary steps and actions to set up a full blown customer account location hierarchy?
Thanks,
Kevin
