Installed Products

We are planning to add a field "Time Zone" to Installed products to determine exactly the service coverage.

Are there any existing implementation solutions as part of the standard or is there a need for customization?

Appreciate any suggestions.

We have had some success using this app from the app exchange on Account. You could use lookup fields or similar to bring the info to the Installed Product.
