Presented as the New Salesforce, Salesforce is actively working on revolutionising their desktop/mobile user experience and CRM look and feel with L I G H T N I N G:

It will eventually impact the applications running on the Force.com platform.

ServiceMax users start getting agitated, wondering if their Field Service Solution is "Lightning Ready" and if their tailored configuration/customisation will still run on Salesforce Lightning.

Is it on ServiceMax's roadmap to implement such significant user-interface and technology changes in the coming releases to keep up with Salesforce evolution?

We are looking forward to hearing more about what's planned for ServiceMax future!

Hi Aymeric,

Yes it is! The product management and development team currently have their hands on Lightning and are determining next steps. We will continue to provide a seamless experience to all ServiceMax users on the new UI and ensure that ServiceMax works flawlessly as Salesforce rolls out Lightning.

Thanks Melissa for your reply.

Can we have any insight into what will be the major updates e.a. Dispatch Console no longer powered by Flash?

We are always very impatient to discover what's coming in the next releases.

Hi John- Yes, ServiceMax currently runs on Lightning. In fact, we have been showcasing our newest product, Service Performance Metrics, in the Lightning interface. The product management team is currently working to update the style of key elements of the interface, such as SFMs, so that they look really great in Lightning. This is in progress now and we will update everyone when it's ready.  Our recommendation is for customers who are ready to move over to Lightning to evaluate it as a whole for their needs and if they are ready to move over then they can switch ServiceMax over to the Lightning interface as well once our UI updates are complete. Thanks!

Please stay tuned...
