Identifying Required tools for a Task Template

Identifying Required tools for a Task Template

It would be great if we could indicate required tools needed for a given task within a task template. This way it could be applied to a PM Plan and when a technician is dispatched they can easily see what tools are required for the job.

This could lead to some improvements for shared tools that need to be scheduled with a technician for a given WO type and allow, in appropriate situations, the service board to schedule a technician and also trigger the scheduling of an available tool (Or show results in recommended resource).

What is the underlying problem do you intend to solve with this idea?
Technician is able to see what tools are required for a given maintenance and dispatch can see tools that need to be scheduled with a given maintenance WO.
How is the problem being addressed today, if at all?
This is tracked within the work instructions of the maintenance and through technicians training.

Great idea,

Please include the idea of having tools not only as part of the task list, but schedule them during the dispatch process as a required part

Include this also during the new upcoming mass dispatching features. (at the time that we schedule multiple WO in one process)
