No signature available

The signatures on the service report are mandatory, the customer wants to require the technician and the customer to sign and not be able to finalize the document without signing.

However, sometimes the customer cannot sign (remote installation/training) and the technician needs to be able to generate the document without the customer signature.

From the customer perspective, it is strange that when no signature available, the engineer still has to set a 'X' / cross or any other symbol as the customer signature and this as we don't know, what this symbol might mean in other languages.

This can be achieved by duplicating the service report, removing the customer signature field, and using the check box during debrief to alternate service reports in the SFM.

Indeed a possible solution but the problem is that this customer has already 8 service report types. In this way, will need to duplicate the number.

We would like to avoid it.

Would using some javascript make sense to hide the field instead? This is not tested.
