Today, we found out that SFMs that are 'Scheduled' will not fire SFM formulas even if they are added to the process. This is a limitation in the 'Scheduled SFM' feature as the entire SFM is unusable without the formulas working as expected.
We rely heavily on these formulas to populate data on newly created records. With this limitation, we now have to develop a separate method for achieving the same result as the formulas, which work fine outside of the Scheduling feature.
Use case is for automatically generated records with start and end dates which need to be shifted/populated for the next coverage period. When the SFM is executed manually, the dates move correctly, but when it's added to a Schedule, the formulas don't fire and each has to be manually entered.
This should be enabled in order to make the Scheduled SFM feature work without limitations.
@archana_krishna@shivaranjini_g idea posted in regards to formulas not executing in Scheduled SFM transactions. Is there future scope to add this to the product roadmap.
