SFM fonts in lightning

Hello,

is there a way to enlarge font size on SFM layouts (lightning)? At least for section titles and field labels.

Re: SFM fonts in lightning

Hi @laurim

Its pre defined, not configurable.

Is it not readable ? Please detail out the ask and how do you use it (persona based) if available.

Feedback came from users that headers fonts are too small to read, like two times smaller than fields values.

Hello,

We're working on switching to Lightning for our environment and the biggest criticism is on the look of the SFM screens.

The field names lack definition and the small grey font used can be hard to read for some users.

Also the '+ Add' button on the far right is making users very annoyed because if you're adding a few lines, you need to cross from left to right just to add a line, fill out the information in the line which is usually positioned as much to the right end as possible (just so the user can work left to right), just to then cross again to far right to add a new line.

Actually we're also working on updating from version 18.3 to 19.3 and when comparing the screen layouts between those version, there is virtually no change to them which is  a dissapointment because I had high hopes that this UI would be much improved in 19.3

Hi @gunnareinars  thanks for the feedback.

1. if you need to add a line or few lines just double click on empty area, a new line gets added

2. In 19.2 we repositioned the +Add placement  on the UI such that it stays even when number of tabs are more. If number of tabs are more then it will be listed in dropdown under more label next to +Add button. This behavior has been set to similar to salesforce behavior.

3. Regarding labels size and fonts this is as per UI definition. Will share with the UX team and get their feedback on this item and update.

Hey there @shivaranjini_g

Thanks alot for the information - have to admit that I did not know that double clicking an empty area prompts a new line, very good

Thanks for bringing the label and font size to the UX team - much appreciated.

Maybe one more thing users are a bit negative about.  In the classic UI, a separate delete button was available to the left of each line which offered 'rapid fire' deletion to multiple records.  But in the Lightning UI, the delete option is now 'hidden' under a tab and then you can select delete - so 2 clicks instead of 1.

Would it be an option to investigate if you can choose between if action selections on the left can be displayed as a) under a tab b) as separate action buttons ?

Thank you

@gunnareinars

We have followed SFDC stylesheet, the delete button is positioned under a tab on the record instead to separate action button.

Having delete button under a tab avoids deletion of record erroneously.

We will watch this request, if we have more people asking for this option then we will consider to drive it through SFM configuration.
