When user is Inactive in Salesforce org and ServiceMax package license also inactivating, but available licences section count not increasing. if remove manually the user from the license panel then count is increasing, which means that only they are checking number of records and not active users?

Please any thoughts?

Hi Ramesh you are correct; making a user inactive does not free-up the licence, you need to edit the user account and select "remove" for the ServiceMax licence to make this available for other users

We are using single sign on and HR will removed the user in SAP and all the systems will be deactivated, but in this case do we need to go and manually remove the user right ?

But in general when Inactivate salesforce user then in ServiceMax also Manage License tab you could see Active check box was removed. So what is the use of Active check box there ? ServiceMax has to count only Active users instead of total count in the manage licence tab in the ServiceMax Package right ?

Hi Ramesh it's not a case of removing the user, but removing the licence.  The licence stays assigned to a user whether they are inactive or not;  you need to open the user record and scroll down to the Managed Packages (Assign licences) section and click on "remove" next to  ServiceMax.  This then frees up the licence.   The user management system is actually part of Salesforce and is not native ServiceMax functionality
