Similar to dispatching multiple technicians to a single Work Order, I've had clients ask about an option to do the opposite.
- Have an option on the technician name in the console for "Schedule Multiple Work Orders"
- Dialogue box pops up
- Click on WO's to be scheduled from the queue
- Have columns for start time, end time, drive time
- Save, and all WO's are scheduled, events created, tech calendar updates
Hi Jeremy, thanks for your feedback. Allowing dispatchers to schedule multiple jobs at once is definitely something we plan to consider as we move forward with Service Board.
Today in DC1 you can assign multiple jobs to one resource by dropping the WOs on the technician's name. In Service Board we may consider expanding that approach to also create appointments, which would likely require an integration to the optimizer in order to sequence the jobs properly and minimize the total drive time.
