Dispatch console - centralized team support for sub divisions

The current Flash DC has some issues when a centralized dispatch team such as we have in the USA dispatch for multiple techs in multiple teams in multiple states

In order to overcome the SFDC and other architectural issues, the DC should be able to be called as a hyperlink with a sub-division flag set to true and a string value to match the sub divisions on

for example we would sue Northeast, Northwest, Central, Southeast, and Southwest as sub division and flag each of the teams relevant to this sub division value

by calling the Dispatch console with

?usesubdivision=1&subdivisionstring=Southwest

the DC would display ONLY teams and techs matching that criteria

What is the underlying problem do you intend to solve with this idea?

We have addressed this issue in the Autumn 17 release with a different solution to the same problem. 

From the release notes:

Gantt Performance Enhancements

When Dispatch Console is launched, events are loaded only for the service teams and territories that are expanded, along with the associated technicians for the specified calendar duration. The events are not loaded for collapsed service teams / territories. Also, when events are refreshed manually / automatically, events are fetched only for technicians in the expanded service teams / territories. This helps in overall improvement of on-launch performance. This improvement is especially useful if the default view loads a high volume of work orders and there are a large number of technicians and events in the default calendar date range.

Closing as "Delivered" as the issue should have been addressed in DC1 by the enhancement mentioned by Dan in the previous comment. 

Service Board will also scale much better to multiple teams and resources.
