I would like to be able to hide in a flexible way after work hours and weekends so that the gui has more space to show details during working hours even in a week view.
It should be possible to select those per dispatcher individual and also be easy adjustable.
@onclinr - Yes, this is on our roadmap for Service Board and currently planned for 20.1c planning. There will be no changes to DC (Flash or HTML5) though.

I saw that the night time had been "abbreviated" in the screen shot on this page (https://www.servicemax.com/products/field-service-management) but I could not find the setting in the documentation so guess it is a mockup.

This was delivered as part of the Service Board 20.1c release. You can now change these under Calendar Display Settings.
