Issue with adding Dynamic date range in Dispatch console.

Issue with adding Dynamic date range in Dispatch console.

When creating custom Dispatch Console views, I want to be able to specify a dynamic date range for events to be loaded, for example, greater than Yesterday, or, greater than Last Week

What is the underlying problem do you intend to solve with this idea?
Reduce the volume of data returned by a dispatch console view dynamically by date
How is the problem being addressed today, if at all?
For now there is no way to get this addressed.

Thanks for the idea Mala. I will research further and consider this for DC 2.0.

Mayhul Jain Hi Mayhul, not having the flexibility with DC views filter (like we have in salesforce) makes it difficult to create efficient views on the dispatch console

  • Variable date horizon - next month, next 3 months, last week, etc.
  • lookups for values (wherever available) - e.g. country, WO status, etc.
  • Logical operators  - not equal to, contains, starts with, does not contain, etc

The end result is less users use the WO views on DC; rather they prefer using salesforce views. Can this be enhanced in the product?

The Status of this Idea is updated to 'On the Roadmap' for the following features:

  • Per the 19.1 Release of Service Board, dynamic date range will be implemented for the jobs that are loaded. Users can create views against them

Please note that 19.1 release will not include dynamic date ranges implemented for Appointments/Events on the Gantt, but users will be able to hide finished, cancelled, etc events.
