Design: Push Notification and Reload

Here is a mock of what an end user would see if there were new work orders that were just added. 

  • Why we designed it this way: 
    • Allows end user to get real time updates. 
    • Allows end user to continue existing work and choose at their own discretion when they reload.  Continues flow of work without interruption. 
    • Allows end user to ignore it. 
    • Allows Admin to configure what will be a notification.  For example, it could a notification for simply new work orders.  Or a notification for new work orders that equal "General Edison" and "Installation" type. 

What do you think?

The new DC is built on Predix and will be integrated with SFDC.

It was implemented within the ServiceMax Go app. We no need to install a sperate app for Push notifications

Is there a visual indication of new work orders if the tech is not on the "my work order screen".  For example, the tech's phone is on the "appointment" screen in the current phone app.   Thx!

Hi Steve - Are you referring to the mobile?  This is only the mockups for Dispatch Console - does not address mobile needs.
