How to create Event Hover Rule in the Dispatch Console?

When you move the mouse a calendar event in Dispatch Console, relevant information about the event and the corresponding Work Order is displayed as a hover.

Fields used to display the hover information can be fully configured in ServiceMax.

To setup Event Hover rules in ServiceMax

(a.) click on Home | ServiceMax Setup | Dispatch Management |Event Hover Rules

(b. )Click New Rule.

(c.) Enter Rule Name. Make sure the rule name is readable and indicates the purpose of the

hover rule. For example “High Priority Work Oder ”.

(d.) Enter 'Description'.

(e.) Using the combination of Work Order field name, operator and value, enter the criteria for each rule.

(Use the buttons marked with x and + to remove and add conditions respectively.)

For Example: 1.Priority Equal High

  2.Order status Equal Open

(f.) If you require give Advanced Expression (For Example : 1 AND 2)

(g.) Select the required Work Order fields from the list on the left and move them to the right.

(Use the Up and Down buttons to set the display order of the selected fields in the hover.)

(h.) Click on Save

Re: How to create Event Hover Rule in the Dispatch Console?

George Piper

Is it possible, or are the plans to add the functionality, to define hover rules for non-work order events?

Looking to add in custom fields either added on the SFDC Event Object or ServiceMax Event Object.
